We are living in an era where technological advancements rapidly reshape our lifestyles. Today, even for short distances, people prefer driving over walking. Likewise, healthy and balanced eating habits are increasingly deteriorating. One of the most visible outcomes of this shift is obesity.
As Guardian Angels of the World, we partnered in an Erasmus+ project aiming to raise awareness among young people about this global health issue. Throughout the project, we emphasized that obesity is not just a weight issue but a serious health concern. Participants learned how obesity develops, what triggers it, and how it can be prevented. They gained a better understanding of the importance of regular physical activity, healthy eating, and water consumption.
Through workshops, activities, informative sessions, and interactive practices, the participants not only increased their personal awareness but also took responsibility to spread this knowledge in their communities. Thanks to cultural exchange, they built strong bonds with peers from different countries and embraced values such as empathy and tolerance alongside healthy living.
This project not only helped youth adopt healthy habits but also introduced them to the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program, encouraging them to stay active and engaged on both local and international platforms.
