Gender Equality Through the Eyes of Youth: More Than Just a Project

Gender equality is not limited to the rights of women. It is a shared issue that concerns everyone in society and can only be transformed through collective action. The Erasmus+ project we participated in was built upon this very perspective.

Young participants from different countries had the opportunity to learn, generate ideas, and develop awareness about gender inequality together. Through cultural nights, they discovered each other’s traditions, and during city tours, they interacted with local people and experienced how prejudices can be overcome.

Thanks to the educational methods used in the project, participants not only increased their knowledge but also gained new skills and improved their attitudes in a more inclusive and empathetic direction. Key Erasmus+ priorities such as environmental sustainability, volunteering, digital competence, and global citizenship were also integrated into the activities throughout the project.

This project not only brought gender equality into the spotlight but also enabled young people to become more active in decision-making processes and recognize their own potential.
