About Us
Guardian Angels of the World is a dynamic civil society organization actively engaged in youth work, education, and culture. We are dedicated to encouraging young people to participate in social life, while promoting European citizenship, volunteering, entrepreneurship, intercultural dialogue, and human rights. We collaborate with schools, NGOs, and local authorities in Bulgaria and abroad to achieve these goals through inclusive and impactful activities.
Our mission is to involve young people in non-formal education processes, support them in expressing their views on critical issues, and raise awareness about tolerance, diversity, and peaceful problem-solving. We implement this through a wide range of activities such as seminars, youth exchanges, training courses, cultural and art events, sports workshops, and youth-led initiatives. In schools, we run European Clubs that inform students about the EU, European cultures, and inspire them to take part in international youth actions.
One of our flagship events is the Festival of Bulgarian Education, where young people learn about educational and career opportunities in Bulgaria and Europe in an interactive environment. The festival includes discussions, seminars, sports, music, theater, and fashion workshops that promote essential life competencies based on non-formal learning principles.
We are highly active within the Erasmus+ framework and have successfully implemented three Erasmus+ youth projects so far:
-
“Be in the Moment”, a project focusing on anxiety among young people and addressing mental well-being in an educational and creative way.
-
“Fashion or Homicide?”, a project highlighting animal rights by exploring the ethical issues in the fashion industry.
-
“Kids, Wake Up And The Game's Over!”, a recently implemented project hosted in the Czech Republic focusing on youth empowerment and creative expression.
Our group consists of dedicated members with extensive experience in international youth work. From volunteers who have completed European Solidarity Corps services abroad, to leaders who have participated in and coordinated numerous Erasmus+ projects, our team brings together a rich blend of knowledge and cultural sensitivity. One of our members has developed and implemented over 20 Erasmus+ projects and regularly provides project-writing training both in-person and online.
Other members have taken part in social entrepreneurship trainings covering topics such as impact measurement, legal frameworks for social enterprises, stakeholder mapping, team building, and sustainable resource development. Their experiences allow us to bring high-quality content, coordination, and inspiration to every initiative we lead.
At Guardian Angels of the World, we strongly believe in the power of youth to shape a better future. We are open to new partnerships and always ready to collaborate with like-minded organizations across Europe and beyond. Through our inclusive, intercultural, and creative approach, we continue to empower young people and amplify their voices on local, national, and international platforms.
